Application

Flange type glands are mainly used for armoured cables and are very easy and comfortable in fitting and give a strong
grip to hold the cable. All the electricity boards and reputed firms use these type of cable glands

PARTS OF GLAND :

  1. Brass Check Nut
  2. Brass Strip with MS Bolts
  3. Brass Center Part
  4. Brass Gland Body
  5. MS Nut (2 Nos.)


All metal parts are accurately machined for ease of assembly

Assembly Sequence
  1. Insert item 2 into item 3 and screw item 3 into apparatus (secure with item 1 if plain hole entry).
  2. Remove the outer sheath of the cable and pass item 4 over the exposed armour.
  3. Cut the armour to required length, lift and bend wire ends.
  4. Push the cable into item 3 over exposed bedding and beneath the armour.
  5. Engage the bolts with item 4, tighten up using item 5
